This package was born when we were approached with the idea of taking an existing free trade magazine distributed to qualified subscribers, in the US, to Europe and selling subscriptions for over $200.00 a year.

An extra challenge was we would be targeting 7 different job titles, ranging from management, marketing, advertising, to operations, 7 groups with vastly different interests and concerns.

As the magazine was an existing title published only in English this appeal would have to be in English, foregoing the extra readership and hopefully response that an 'in' language approach might have offered.

A response rate of 1/4 of a percent was needed, as that would offset the initial costs bringing profitability with next year’s renewals. They were profitable in year one.
